THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
1
Preparatory and analytical work is conducted by UN agencies to develop a common picture ofwhere each country is vis-a-vis the GAP Framework.
2
In-country discussions between national governments and UN counterparts take place regarding the initial analytical work, coupled with a review of national strategies and initiatives that impact child wasting.
3
UN agencies support national governments to identify a core set of ambitious yet feasible priority actions, as well as the support needed from UN agencies, civil society, donors, academics and private sector partners to achieve these.
